This twin housing counter top water filter features our long lasting KDF/GAC cartridge (12,000 gallon rating) Kinetic Degradation Fluxion is a high-purity copper-zinc formulation that uses a basic process known as redox (oxidation/reduction) & Granulated Activated Carbon, PLUS your choice of one special contaminant filter cartridges! Choose the Doulton Sterasyl ceramic as a pre-filter to effectively remove harmful bacteria, such as E. Coli, Fecal coliform, Samonella, Streptococcus, and cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia), and sediment down to 0.9 micron. Click HERE to see performance data. The ceramic cartridge can be cleaned up to 40 times (about once a month).

Or choose one of three other Specialty Contaminant Removal Cartridges, "Nitrate Removal Filter" , "Fluoride Removal Filter", "Sodium Removal Filter" if you wish to effectively remove Fluoride, Nitrates or Sodium.

This dual setup unit is the best for Fluoride Removal which is removed with an Activated Alumina Filter (it's aluminum oxide, the same chemical substance as sapphire and rubies, but without the impurities that give the gems their color (this is not aluminum), our KDF/GAC cartridge will also remove any activated alumina that may be in your water after going through the activated alumina filter for ultra clean water.

A diverter valve replaces the aerator on your faucet. In the regular position, water exits straight through the aerator. When filtered water is desired, turn on the cold water and pull out on the diverter valve knob - water is routed through the filter and out its own spout. Great for apartments, dorms, RV's or travel. Spout, diverter valve, and connectors are lead-free chromed brass - NSF-approved. It can be later converted for under-counter use with part number FK, Faucet Kit ($49.00).
